SIM card ICCID in Tracker Management

Efficient GPS tracker management requires precise details, not only about the device itself but also about the inserted SIM card. We understand the importance of having comprehensive information, especially when you need to perform actions like sending SMS. That's why we integrated the SIM card ICCID into the Tracker Management.

Device and SIM harmony: You now have the ability to assign the corresponding ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identifier) to a specific device in the Tracker Management. This aligns device and SIM card information seamlessly.

Automatic ICCID retrieval for queclink GL3xx devices: For all queclink GL3xx devices, the ICCID of the inserted SIM card can be automatically requested using the "Request device settings" message. This streamlines the process, providing you with the necessary information effortlessly.

User-friendly editing and copying: In the infos tab of each device, you can edit and copy the ICCID. This gives you the flexibility to manage and update information with ease.

Bulk operations: For streamlined operations, you can now include the ICCID when adding GPS trackers in the Tracker Management by uploading a *.csv file. This makes bulk operations more efficient and error-free.

New charging device display

We have launched a valuable addition to our Trackers Dashboard that enhances your ability to monitor the charging status of your GPS devices. With this update, Racemap now evaluates the charge messages from queclink GL3XX series devices. This feature provides you with crucial feedback when managing devices during long races or upon receiving them back from customers.

Display charging devices

Our tracker management now displays which GPS units are currently charged. This feature is especially useful for:

Long races: You can remotely keep track of device charging during extended events to ensure your devices remain active and reliable.

Post-event: Upon receiving devices back from your customers, you can quickly identify charging units when preparing the next use.

Connectivity matters

To benefit from this feature, it is essential to enable the periodical info report and that the devices are connected with Racemap so that our platform can evaluate the charging state. As always device connectivity is the key to unlocking valuable features.

FIN status in monitor

We've unveiled a valuable addition to our Safety Monitor to improve your monitoring capabilities. Our new FIN status supports responsible individuals in the race office and sharpens their focus on critical scenarios on the race course.

How to utilize the FIN status

The FIN status is straightforward. When participants cross the finish line, and Racemap platform receives their finish reads from the timing system, the Safety Monitor automatically tags them FIN. The FIN tag speeds up the identification of participants who are still out at the race, saving time and effort.

Advantages of FIN status

Efficient monitoring: Say goodbye to manual tracking of participants who have finished the race. Our system now handles this task for you, ensuring a more efficient way to filter relevant participants.

Enhanced Focus: With the option to hide participants tagged with the FIN status, you can seamlessly redirect your attention to those who are still actively racing ("NO STATE"). This feature maintains a clear and focused view of the event, allowing you to concentrate on the participants who require your immediate attention.

For more detailed information on utilizing the Racemap Safety Monitor, we encourage you to explore our documentation, specifically the section on "How to Use Live Tracking Monitor." You can find this information at the following link https://docs.racemap.com/how-to-use-live-tracking/monitor.

Battery history in Track Chart

We've released significant enhancements to our interactive Track Chart tool. The latest update integrats two important improvements to provide you deeper insights about your GPS devices at events.

Battery history on the 2nd y-axis

Keeping tabs on your GPS tracker's battery life is crucial for uninterrupted tracking. That's why we've added a dedicated second y-axis in the Track Chart to display the battery history of your GPS tracker. Now, you can effortlessly monitor the power consumption of your devices while reviewing their location data. This addition empowers you to make informed decisions about current settings, device maintenance and replacement, ensuring your tracking operations run smoothly.

Delay of received coordinates

We've enhanced the y-axis in the Track Chart. It now indicates the delay of received coordinates in seconds.

In addition to these insightful improvements, we've made the Track Chart more interactive and intuitive. Now, you have the option to download the chart as an image, making it easier to save and share essential tracking data.

Getting started is easy. Simply access the Track Chart for a specific device directly from the participants' list of your event.

With these new features, you won't miss a beat when remotely operating your GPS trackers at events.

Speedy multi-messaging with queclink GL3YY devices

We've just released the latest update of our tracker management, which brings a host of improvements to all queclink GL3YY series devices. We've been hard at work to streamline your processes with GPS trackers, making them smoother and more efficient than ever before.

Lightning-fast messages delivery

We've increased the speed of sending multiple messages to queclink GL3YY devices. In the past, we sent messages at a rate of one per second, but with this update, we've revolutionized the process. Now, we send all messages simultaneously to all online devices, independent from if there are 20 or 2,000 messages in the pipeline. Brace yourself for near-instantaneous message delivery.

Device settings auto-update

We understand that managing device settings can be a hassle. That's why we've developed a convenient feature that automatically requests device settings (including the ICCID number of the SIM card) after every message that impacts those settings. That means you can now check the current settings for each device in the settings tab. Goodbye to manual tinkering, hello to greater ease and efficiency.

ICCID search

We also added a valuable search feature. You can now search for devices using the ICCID numbers of their SIM cards. What's more, we've made ICCID number retrieval automatic, whether you're using our SIM cards or your preferred SIM provider. This feature provides greater flexibility and convenience in managing your devices.
