We receive feedback from users managing large numbers of GPS devices, who love the filter feature for quickly finding relevant trackers.

To make this more user-friendly, we’ve completely reworked the filter tree in the tracker management. The new design is more intuitive, with clear hover feedback and convenient checkboxes for faster (de)selection of specific filter parameters.

Need to start fresh? Simply click the "Reset" button to clear all selected filters with a single click.

We’ve just rolled out SMS communication in the tracker management dashboard! This feature is now available for devices equipped with our M2M SIM cards, and it's not just limited to GPS trackers.

Why SMS?

While SMS may seem like an outdated technology, it’s a reliable solution when a device loses connection to the server. Even if your trackers go offline, with SMS you still have the option to send essential commands - like rebooting the device or requesting its latest location - ensuring your devices stay operational.

How does it work? 

• By default, messages to GPS trackers are sent via TCP. 
• If a device is using our M2M SIM card, you can send commands via SMS.

Costs management

SMS costs are charged to the account sending the messages, making it easy to manage expenses. For example, if you're renting devices and the borrower sends SMS, they’ll be responsible for the cost.

We’ve introduced a Tags column to the tracker management dashboard to give you a clearer overview and streamline your workflow, especially when handling multiple groups of GPS devices.

This new column displays all tags associated with each device. Simply hover over a tag to view more details or quickly remove it from a specific device, making device management faster and more efficient.

We’ve made generating QR codes easier than ever! This new API feature not only simplifies the process but also scales seamlessly when interacting with participants using the RACEMAP App or your custom app.

With the following API route, you can automatically generate QR code images for specific keys:

Just replace [KEY] with the key you want to generate a QR code for. For example, to create a QR code for the passcode "6G615L" use this URL:

This API returns a QR code image, ready to embed or display in your applications such as email, newsletter, dashboard, etc. ... making it perfect for streamlining participant interactions at scale.

We understand that load consumption is a key cost factor for RACEMAP tracking platform. To give you more control and visibility, we've launched the loads API, enabling you to retrieve hourly load data for specific endpoints, such as map, current API or times API, over a defined time period. With the loads API, you can automatically track your load consumption.

We’ve added the gpxURL parameter to our Starters API to provide you with even more flexibility for automation. This new feature allows you to easily download the recorded track of a specific tracking device within the event's start & end times.

Key Features: 

• Activation & Deactivation: Instantly activate or terminate individual SIM cards at any time.
• Tracker Association: View the GPS tracker name associated with each SIM card.
• Data Usage Monitoring: The "Data Usage" column shows an estimate of the current month's traffic consumption. Please note, exact figures are available with delay, as real-time data from the SIM card provider is not available.

Our platform now offers the option to send commands via SMS, offering reliable communication even when your trackers lose connection with the server.

• Default Transport: By default, messages to GPS trackers are sent via TCP. However, if a device uses our M2M SIM card, you have the option to send commands via SMS. 
• Sending SMS Messages: If a device loses its connection to the RACEMAP server, you can still send critical commands like reboot or request for the latest location via SMS. Giving you more options to keep offline devices usable.
