Dashboard for predictive live tracking

Racemap tracking platform provides a solution for live visualization of a races from sporadic reads of the timing system. We call it predictive tracking (prediction). We now published our new dashboard for the prediction showing insights and giving feedback to improve your predictive live tracking and supporting your team on the race ground.

The dashboard is separated into four sections:

  • Status: Checklist for data and settings which are required to conduct predictive tracking. Additionally, there is an automated check of the forwarding settings in RACE|RESULT.
  • Readers: The locations of readers are shown on a map when we receive reads. There is a hint when readers are placed too far from the shadowtrack and its location can not be mapped. This means its reads are not considered for prediction (dropped reads). Additionally, the shadowtrack is shown as an elevation profile with the corresponding readers' locations. A reader can be mapped to several locations of the shadowtrack, automatically as a reader in laps is mapped to every lap.
  • Transponders: Shows the last received read for each transponder. Additional information is provided: recorded- and received timestamp, location of the last read and the total number of reads for each transponder.
  • Reads: Showing raw data Racemap receives from your timing system account.
