New Command for Blacklisting Network Operators (Queclink GL320)
We’re excited to announce a new feature for Queclink GL320 (and GL310) devices: The ability to blacklist specific network operators from the tracker management (https://racemap.com/admin/trackers). This update addresses reception issues caused by SIM cards or their contracted providers. When a network operator is blacklisted, the modem will no longer attempt to connect to that operator.
This feature is especially useful in scenarios where a modem connects to a network but cannot transmit data through it.
Who Is This For?
This command is for users who are experienced with Queclink GL320 devices, the configuration of their SIM cards, and tracker management.
Key Information:
- Reception Issues Across Borders: Many users have reported connectivity issues, particularly when using GPS trackers in multiple countries.
- Firmware Update Required: The latest firmware for GL320 (R01A11V14) and GL310 (R00A11V05) devices introduces the blacklisting feature. Ensure your devices are updated to the latest version. Step-by-step instructions are available in our documentation: https://docs.racemap.com/hardware-for-live-tracking/maintain
- Use With Caution: This feature should only be used when you are certain that a specific network operator is causing connectivity issues.
