Speed Chart Enhancements in Predictive Tracking
We’re excited to share the next improvement to our predictive live tracking. This update refines the speed graphs (Set speed, Live speed, and Replay speed) in the analysis section of prediction, ensuring clearer & more actionable insights.
In March, we introduced a new "jumping dots"-feature (beta) to address the discrepancy between the forecast of our prediction and the latest data from the timekeeping system. This feature quickly adjusts the dots' locations according to sporadic timing updates and the dots "jump" to the latest known location. Learn more about this feature in our previous announcement: https://updates.racemap.com/enhanced-predictive-live-tracking-with-jumping-dots-3152ik
We observed that the live speed graph displayed sharp peaks when dots were jumping, showing maximum speed values up to 1000 km/h that overshadowed the regular speed data. This made normal speed values hard to see and impossible to interpret.
We’ve now resolved this issue! The speed chart is more balanced, making it easy to read, analyze, and understand the data.
