This release is about spending less time hunting and more time running your races. Our new global search jumps you straight to any event from wherever you are working in the back office. Search now understands names with umlauts (Ä, Ö, and Ü) and highlights exactly what it matched, and the event editor stops throwing away half your work when you set the event times. Setting up and supervising an event is a little quicker at every turn.

Jump to any event from anywhere

Across the back office, a single search box now reaches everything. Start typing anywhere under your admin or Safemap area and you get matching events, back-office pages and — if you are an admin — user accounts, sorted into tabs so you can narrow to just the kind of result you want. Your recent items and the pages the menus bury deepest sit ready before you even type. 

See what your participant search matched

In the participant table, your search text is now highlighted right in the rows — across names, bib numbers, IDs, and even tags — so you can see at a glance why each participant came up. 

In the tracking map navigation bar, searching a name with umlauts now finds the right person. Searching "Höpt" used to also return "Haupt" and "Häpt"; now accented letters and their plain forms all match each other, so participants, tracks, and points of interest turn up however you type them.

Set event times once, without losing half of them

In the event editor, setting your event's start and end times used to take a separate confirmation for each — and half of the information you had edited but not confirmed was quietly discarded. Now you set both and confirm once. The start and end times are colour-coded so you can see which one you are editing, clicking anywhere in the field just works, and moving an event keeps its duration automatically.

Start and end times on every group

In the event list, group and stage tiles now show the start, end time, and duration, according to their contests — just as single events already did. The group events' table gains a duration column that reads as a small timeline, so you can see how the stages line up, and a group with no children correctly shows no times.

Show a group as soon as one contest is active

You can now set a group listed once at least one of its associated contests is activated. Before this, a single unactivated contest blocked the whole group from being listed, even when the rest were activated — so an organiser with three of five contests live was stuck. 

Readable distance markers

On the tracking map, the improved distance markers sit behind a white halo and are outlined in the track colour, so they stay legible on satellite and terrain and stop crowding the route on an overview. Hovering and selecting a track lifts it above the others and shows its markers alone, so overlapping routes no longer compete, and the same markers now appear in the event editor's map tab and in Safemap. The tracking map documentation covers how to switch them on. We also improved the zoom behavior of the distance marker for better readability.

Uncoloured tracks follow your event colour

Any track or point without an explicitly picked colour now takes your event's Base Color from the Visualization settings, on the tracking map, and in the editor — a colour you pick explicitly wins. Toggling the Shadowtrack checkbox no longer changes colours unexpectedly, and a track you import now follows your Base Color instead of being locked to a fixed blue.

Keep the Connection Chart current on its own

In Tracker Management, the Connection Chart gains a new reload and auto-refresh interval, with the age of the shown data beside it. Set it to refresh every 30 seconds or every minute while you watch a device come online, and it pauses automatically while the tab is hidden. A reload keeps your zoom exactly where they were. It is covered in the device debugging documentation.

Filter your device access as you type

In Tracker Management, the modal to grant device access (editor or borrower) now filters the list below — type a name or email, and the table narrows while still offering directory users to add. The role hint moves into its own column, so date ranges are no longer cramped, and shared users are sorted owner first, then editors, then the most recent borrowers.
