Share more GPS tracking, miss less settings
Working as a team gets easier in this release. You can now share tracker tags with other RACEMAP accounts, and your Safemap shows every course of an event. Across the RACEMAP applications tracking map, elevation chart, and leaderboard, lost details are visible again: overlapping distance markers, the finish flag, and stage results.
What's new
Organise GPS trackers together with shared tags
In Tracker Management you can now share a tracker tag with other users. Open a tag and go to the new Sharing tab. Add colleagues as editors, or give the Creator role to someone else to hand the tag over. Editors can add and remove trackers and can leave a tag when they no longer need it. Only the creator can delete it. In the sidebar, tags appear under "Shared with you" and "Shared by you", so you can see at a glance who owns what. When a tag contains trackers you can't access, a warning shows how many there are.
Tag work is quicker, too. Adding or removing trackers updates the tag at once. If you type a tag name that doesn't exist yet, the picker offers to create the tag. The sidebar count now includes only the trackers you can actually see. The new tags guide explains sharing, editing, handing over, leaving and deleting tags.
See every race course on your Safemap
In Safemap the map now draws every track of the event in its own colour. Before, Safemap showed only the shadowtrack. An event with several courses and no selected shadowtrack had no line on the map, only the points of interest. With this improvement, your safety team can see every route of the event. Also, the shadowtrack stands out: it is drawn in the top layer at full strength and carries the distance markers, while the other tracks sit underneath in lighter colours. Read all about our safety dashboard in the documentation.
Change your account email without losing access
In your account settings, a new email address now waits until you enter the 6-digit code we send to it. Until then, your current address keeps working, you stay logged in, and your account remains confirmed. A typo can no longer lock you out. While a change is pending, the address appears in your account with Resend and Cancel buttons. A change made through the billing portal follows the same safe and convenient path.
Archive or remove an event
Across the back office: the new help page, Delete a tracking map, explains what to do with an event you no longer need. Archiving is usually what you want - it is reversible + settings are stored for duplication into a new event - and you find it under Advanced settings → Danger Zone. If a map really has to be deleted, the page tells you how to ask support.
Stage results at a glance
In the Leaderboard, the overview of a stage race now shows each stage's result as soon as a participant finishes it. That is the time for a distance race, or the distance for a race with a set duration. Riders who finish are ranked by their result, ahead of everyone still on course. Stages without an activated leaderboard no longer appear, either in the overview or in the event chooser in the header.

Distance markers that stay readable where courses cross
In the tracking map, an overlapping course no longer produces a jumble of distance markers. Before, the number of the lower marker showed through the bubble of the one above. Now distance markers completely cover the one beneath, number included, so mile "4" reads cleanly on top of mile 1. This also holds on the satellite map and in presenter mode.
The finish line is back on the elevation chart
In the tracking map, the elevation chart now reaches all the way to the end of the course. The Finish flag is shown at the route end, and so do participants who have finished there. Before, the chart stopped just short of the full route length and quietly dropped the finish.
You can use the elevation chart as a stand-alone component for your own applications.
Readable split labels on light event colours
In the map settings of your tracking map, split labels above the elevation chart stay readable when you've set a very light event's base colour. Before, a split without its own colour got white text on white background, not readable. Light colours now sit on a darker background, and dark colours look the same as before.
Participants stay on the map for the full marker timeout
In the visualization, a participant's marker now stays fully visible for the whole marker timeout you set, then fades out over 10 seconds. Before, it began to fade the moment the last position arrived and was gone exactly at the timeout. A marker that vanished at once with a timeout of 0 now fades out over those 10 seconds instead.
Share any event straight from the event list
On the event list, every event card now has a share button at the end of its title. On a phone it opens the device's share sheet. On a desktop it copies the event's live tracking link, and the tooltip confirms with "Copied". The list's event counts and map data are now cached at the edge, so the page answers quickly even when many visitors open it.
Also, the map now moves to the events your search finds. Search for a country and the map eases over to it, instead of leaving the results bunched in a single bubble on a world map. Hovering a cluster draws a ring around it. Land is now darker than water, so the map is easier to read.
